A walking app, in development
A little walking. Someone beside you.
Pavio is a walking app being built around your own daily goal, with companions you earn by walking, never by buying.
It isn’t available yet. This page explains what Pavio is meant to be.

What Pavio is
Built around your day, not a scoreboard.
Pavio is being designed to be opened for a moment and put away again: your steps against a goal you chose, and one clear thing to look forward to.
-
Your own goal
You’ll choose a daily step goal that suits you. Each day will be measured against the goal that applied that day, and changing your goal will take effect from the next day rather than rewriting earlier ones.
-
Companions earned by walking
Steady walking will gradually reveal a companion, one at a time. Companions will come from walking alone. They won’t be for sale.
-
Numbers you can trust
Pavio is designed to show where your steps come from and when they were last updated. A day with no data will say so rather than show zero, and steps from before you started will be kept separate, so they never count towards companions.
-
No pressure on rest days
Walking every single day isn’t the point. Pavio aims to encourage you without shaming you for a day off or asking you to keep walking for someone else’s sake.
Why it exists
Distance, pace and workouts aren’t what count. Showing up is.
Plenty of apps measure how far or how fast you went. Pavio is for the quieter part of walking: a little, most days, with something to look forward to.
It’s for people who walk most days, or would like to, and want a gentle reason not to skip.
About and contact
Check in briefly, then get on with your day.
Pavio is a new walking app in early development. It’s meant to be glanced at and returned to by choice: encouraging rather than demanding, and truthful about every number it shows.
